Flipped Class

Updated 2 years ago by Denise Henry

A flipped class model provides a way for students to spend more time in class applying key concepts and receiving guidance from the teacher. Pre-assessment and practice is done at home so that students have more time in class for instruction and collaboration.

Before the Lesson
During Class
  • Students receive instruction based on their performance data.
  • Provide direct instruction and/or time to work through Mangahigh's recommended challenges to students who need remediation
  • Students who are ready to move forward work on Mangahigh recommended challenges while you provide remediation or provide peer tutoring.
Note: Students who preform well on challenges receive extension activities in their recommend list.
After Class
  • Assign a challenge to check understanding and/or extend learning
